Yeah, the MH-82 seemed to be tearing it up at slightly longer distances. It helped, but the turn speed felt the same, so I still got pounded on in CQC just because I couldn't track fast enough. |

Then up your sensitivity, I have no problem tracking all but the fastest of targets with my heavy.
That's not the issue, I'm usually anticipating where the guy I'm trying to kill is going, so 1v1 I'll usually win unless they're using MD's and flux's or are running AR with stacked damage mods. My problem is that when there's more than one guy in front of me I'll kill one guy as their splitting up and I can't turn fast enough to catch up to the other guy who decided to run past me only to turn around and blap me. |

So you're asking for a buff in uncapped rotation speed for an issue with you engaging with more than 1 target in CQC? You can be the best player in the world, if you let 2 people get in that close, you're gonna have a bad time. Hell I would argue that one of the counters for a heavy is to gang up on him so his double hp is split between 2 players pelting on him.
I'm not asking for a buff, I was just making a point that the turning speeds didn't feel like they were changed. So maybe it's the placebo effect.
And really? I thought Heavies were meant for point defense, why shouldn't we be able to switch our targets as fast as everyone else? Especially in CQC... If the enemy gets the drop on us, yeah, we're screwed. But If I'm watching two players as they run towards me and my camp site, they shouldn't stand a chance. Unless they're running weapons to keep me at a distance. |
